This calculator from Crownvale Funding in Greeneville, Tennessee estimates the payment and interest on a drawn line of credit balance paid down evenly, using the rate in an offer you hold. The result is arithmetic on figures you supply; it is neither an offer nor a quote.
Inputs the Business Line of Credit Interest Calculator Uses for Gas Station Owners
A station owner using the calculator enters the size of a typical fuel draw as the amount, the annual rate from the line offer, and the number of months it takes to pay that draw down. The result shows what carrying that draw costs. Running it for a small weekday load and a large holiday load shows how much the size of the draw matters.
- Amount: the balance drawn, not the full limit.
- Interest rate: the annual rate in the offer, as a percentage.
- Term: the months until the draw is paid back to zero.
Inputs the Business Line of Credit Interest Calculator Uses for Therapy Clinics
A therapy clinic drawing to cover a stretch of slow insurer payments enters the expected draw and the months until those claims clear. If claims usually clear in about two months, entering 2 shows the cost of that gap; entering 4 shows what a slower stretch would cost.
The calculator treats the draw as paid down in equal monthly payments. A clinic that pays the whole draw back in one lump when claims arrive will pay somewhat less interest than the result shows.
Two Invented Draws Run Through the Arithmetic
Illustration only, invented figures: a $20,000 draw at an invented annual rate of 12%, paid down over 6 months, has a payment of about $3,451 and total interest of about $706 (our arithmetic). Left fully drawn for a month, the same balance would build about $200 of interest.
A smaller $8,000 draw at the same invented rate, paid down over 3 months, has a payment of about $2,720 and total interest of about $161 (our arithmetic).
Limits of the Business Line of Credit Interest Calculator
The calculator does not know a line’s fees: an annual fee, a draw fee, an unused-line fee or a renewal fee. It assumes a fixed rate, while some lines have a variable rate tied to an index. It assumes even monthly paydowns, while real draws are paid back when receipts arrive. And it cannot say what rate or limit a partner would offer.
Use it to compare offers you already hold, or to test how the size and length of a draw change its cost.
When to Call Crownvale Instead of Using the Business Line of Credit Interest Calculator
Call (423) 418-8860 when the question is which funding type fits, not what a given draw costs: whether a repeating bill needs a line at all, whether a purchase belongs on a term loan instead, or what a partner might read in the request. The business line of credit page covers limits, draws and renewals, and the request page lists what the form asks.
